Three types of Teaching Nomad candidates: Someone that is new to teaching ESL, it will give you the confidence and the qualification to teach in China. Someone that has experience teaching ESL but wants to improve their skills and receive certification that will qualify them for higher paying positions. Someone wishing to build on a previously completed lower level TESOL certification. These courses are not a substitute for a 4 year (Bachelors) college degree, which is required by the People’s Republic of China. You should have a degree in any subject or discipline.
The course contents are designed to have you prepared and confident on the first day of class! Each course is broken into 4 modules with an exam to complete the module. Learn more. Specialist video teaching components, so you can see exactly what you will be doing in your classroom Covers the practical elements of teaching, like classroom management (group work and pair work, discipline, correction and classroom sensitivity) Key theories needed for teaching the basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. There are comprehensive sections on English grammar and unlimited tutorial support as you progress.
Most trainees work their way through their chosen course in around 1-3 months, although you set the pace of your studies. Course durations are extendable for a small extra fee. You can go as fast or as slow as you wish, so completion within one month is possible.
