Our Client, a Sino-U.S. International High School is hiring
experienced teachers to join their team based in Shanghai.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a new school
pioneering a Sino-foreign joint high school model with highly
qualified western-trained expatriate teachers and local teachers.
Opened in September 2014 and operating from their beautiful
purpose built campus, our client operates an independent,
Chinese-foreign collaborative high school approved by Shanghai
Education Committee. Chinese and international students from around
the world attend this three-year, full-time boarding school in
Shanghai for grades 10, 11, and 12.
The curriculum integrates an international perspective with
four pillars of Chinese compulsory education, Chinese Language,
History, Math, Geography and Politics. Students have the option to
participate in the Shanghai academic proficiency exams. They are
able to apply for domestic Chinese Universities as well as having
the option to seek higher education abroad. In its first year, the
school aimed to matriculate 100 students from Shanghai and 50
students from other areas of China for the Grade 10 class.
International students are also encouraged to apply. In future years
when the school is at full capacity, our client intends to enroll
approximately 1,000 students across all three grade levels.
