Job Summary & Responsibilities

Our client offers a great opportunity for teaching in China as they have teams dedicated to every aspect of employing teachers in China. They employ foreign managers and teaching mentors to optimize their processes, mediate cultural issues, and create a smooth and happy work life to ensure quality teaching and job satisfaction. Each teacher is assigned a dedicated visa handler and case handler. 

Working and living in China, whilst massively rewarding, can also be a bit of challenge, with many cultural, regulatory and organizational differences that can surprise or frustrate many foreigners. Stemming from our client's extensive experience in handling these challenges, we believe it is essential to provide foreign teachers with professional dedicated support to ensure they are comfortable and happy and able to do their best work. 

About this job

  • Monday to Friday, around 8 am – 12 pm, 2 pm – 5:30 pm
  • Maximum of 20 teaching hours per week
  • 15-30 students per class
  • Classroom fully equipped with computer, projector, board, and microphone


  • 16,000 - 22,000 RMB Total monthly remuneration (includes housing allowance)Contract renewal appraisal (boost monthly salary)
  • Flight to China paid up-front (negotiable)
  • Up to 5,000 RMB interest free loan option after passing company requirements
  • 1 month leave per year (half basic salary + full housing) plus national holidays
  • 2 months unpaid summer leave
  • Z work visa application assistance + residence permit upon arrival
  • social and accident insurance or commercial insurance
  • Pre-arrival webinar training and orientation
  • Up to 4 nights free hotel upon arrival 
  • Airport pickup, bank, phone card, and apartment rental assistance
  • Comprehensive arrival orientation
  • Sponsored social events and culture classes
  • Ongoing teacher mentoring and assessment (classroom observations, webinars and weekly training sessions) 
  • Afternoon off once a week to attend free weekly Mandarin Chinese lessons and/or teacher training 

Candidate requirements

  • Holder of the Bachelor Degree or above
  • Related teaching experience preferred
  • TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certification
  • Educational major preferred
  • Cooperative and positive attitude
  • Respects the teaching profession and understands children’s educational needs
  • Clean background check record. (issued date should be within 6 months)
